Knowledge representation – first-order logic, temporal logic, rules representation. Fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic theory. Rough sets. Genetic and evolutionary algorithms. Neural networks, neural-fuzzy and fuzzy-neural systems. Decentralized and multi-agent systems. Classes: Laboratory: Applying intelligent computer methods to solve well-known NP-complete problems. Implementation of algorithms with existing programming libraries (e.g. GAlib). Analysis of obtained results and configurations of the algorithms. Project: Objectives of the course A student should receive a practical knowledge necessary to design and implementation intelligent applications. Examination method Lecture: written examination.
